BLACKROCK
From a busy congested thoroughfare to a quiet, pleasant village. Blackrock took space away from cars and gave it to people. It is now a place where people meet and businesses thrive. No less than 4 businesses opened during the pandemic. A place where people can stay is a place where people can spend.
GRANGEGORMAN
You don't close a road, you open it to cyclists, pedestrians, people with mobility issues. You create. a place to be, and not a place to go through. Grangegorman used to be a rat run with speeding cars. Now schoolchildren can cycle to school on their own in an appeased environment.
GLASTHULE
Being able to visit our local village for a coffee, a chat & to rest in a safe & welcoming space is crucial for our health & wellbeing. This space is there, we need to redistribute it.

What Did You Think?
Our proposal is what we will base all our work on, so that we can make Phibsborough a great place to live, where kids can play on the streets and ride their bike safely. We believe what we suggest is achievable and desirable. It is a long and windy road ahead, but we think there is strength in numbers!
